Newborn Bliss

Hoped for, longed for, dreamed of.

Adored, cherished and loved beyond all else.

Last month I travelled to this gorgeous family’s home and spent the afternoon documenting this precious little girl and her family.  Every detail, every moment was filled with love and gratitude for this brand new little angel.

Presenting the world of little Miss E.

Sweet Benjamin

I am in love with this little family.

Jordan and Wenjing brought their gorgeous little son to see me for his very first photoshoot when he was just a day short of a month old.  Benjamin is perfect and is obviously adored by his mom and daddy.  A first grandchild on both sides of his family, I have no doubt this little boy will be surrounded by love and pride every moment of his life.

Mommy had a few poses that she wanted me to capture for her and then we moved on to some snuggly poses of his very own.

Presenting the so very handsome Benjamin and his beautiful family:

Photography Packaging

Years ago I read a William Morris quote that stuck with me ever since:

“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful to believe to be beautiful.”

In that line, I would like to give you a peek at some of my new packaging.  A perfect mix of beauty and function, these glass photo boxes are a stunning way to display some of your favourite wedding photos and provide a glamorous home for that all important USB.  A mix of vintage elegance, hand made artisan feel and a the look of modern elegance they are the perfect compliment to any home.

These boxes will be included with my wedding packages and are also available to purchase with your newborn, maternity and regular photography sessions.

I couldn’t decide if I liked the gold or silver coloured box better;  or if I preferred the single compartment or two, so for this year, I picked three options and will let my clients choose which they prefer!

Along with the glass case, and customized matching USB, all wedding packages will include 10 images ( my choice!), tied together with the most delicate silk ribbon imaginable.

Another option I will now provide as an add on, are mounted prints and a display stand.  Each box will comfortable fit 12 mounted images.  I love this choice as it allows you to display the photographs, changing the one you want to feature as often as you wish!

I still love my wood boxes packaging.  I have used these for several years with my family sessions and love the rustic look and artisan feel them them.  They are available in the smaller size which holds my wood USB and in a larger (8″ x 8″) size which two compartments, one for the USB and one that holds 5×7 images.  They are another beautiful option to display your family’s images and provide a home for the USB of your images.

I will be adding these options to all my client galleries please contact me in the meantime for pricing and delivery should you wish to have one of these pretties for your own.

Jordan’s – Maternity Photoshoot

Not Your Mamma’s Maternity Photos!

Gone are the days ( thank goodness) when pregnancy wasn’t talked about and you spent the majority of 9 months draped in clothing that resembled your mother’s living room curtains.

Now we live in a time when mamma’s-to-be can celebrate this incredible time in their life ( and the life of their family) while they prepare for the birth of their baby.

How lucky am I to be able to document this special time and with photos that show just how beautiful it was?

Jordan travelled all the way from Saint John for photos in my studio.  She was such a trouper; after we finished with studio images,  we travelled another hour where she braved the cold and wind for a sunset shoot in beautiful Peggy’s Cove.

You are as trusting and patient as you are beautiful and kind.

Thank you,

xo
