I stopped on the way home from driving my son to work today to take a few images of her for a birthday party invitation. She will be seven soon and time seems to fly more quickly each year. The realization of how grown up she is getting has put me in a bit of a reflective mood.
Slowing down is a constant battle for me and I don’t believe I will conquer the demon any time soon; but I have been learning to stop to and take a breath every now and then.
And when I do, everything changes.

There is beauty to be found everywhere if we just open our eyes to see it.
