Taking Baby for a Walk – July 30

She had a baby “2 days ago”.

The baby’s name is Jane.

Apparently Jane really wanted to go to the wildlife park;

Which must have been true because  she didn’t make a peep the entire time…..

July 27, 2012 – Kouchibouquac National Park

Sometimes the simplest of plans are the best.

During breakfast it was decided that it would be a good day to go to the beach.

A quick phone resulted in the the loan of a couple of our little friends for the afternoon and we packed a simple picnic lunch.

The hermit crabs were plentiful and the water was oh so warm and (mercifully) jellyfish-free.

What more could a kid want on a summer day?

(Did I mention that the kids we “borrowed” are absolutely gorgeous?!)

I nearly didn’t bring my camera -it was high noon by the time we arrived, and “knew” the lighting wouldn’t be any good for pictures…. (I’m not always the smartest of creatures…)

The Splinter

July 25-

A nasty splinter found it’s way into her little foot.

It took quite a bit of  work to get it out and even more to convince her to let me do it with my needle.

The exertion of the event tuckered her out and by the time I had put my instrument away, she had passed out on the sofa.

Harper – July 22, 2012

Little Miss Harper.

Your big brother adores you and your mother and father couldn’t be prouder of their wonderful baby girl.

At the ripe age of 11 days old your personality is already emerging.  You are oh so inquisitive, already showing such an interest in the world around you.  You are so determined,,,, you wanted nothing to do with being swaddled and managed to wiggle your way out of the snuggest wraps.  You are very perceptive and already know your mama and love to gaze into her eyes.  Oh so smart and not yet two weeks old!

I see great things ahead for you!

Wendy, I absolutely love these! They are so, so beautiful, thank you, thank you, thank you for from the bottom of my heart.

Sibling Love

I love capturing the special bonds between the people in my photographs.

I’ve been working on a newborn shoot tonight and had to chuckle at these two.

How cute is it that after just 11 days of being together, these two adorable kids have the brother and sister role down pat already?!
